Harold's Bio
Harold Oliver Willson, 90, formerly of Endwell, NY, died on Saturday, June 13th, 2015 at Good Shepherd/Fairview Home in Binghamton.
He was born June 10, 1925, in Marathon, NY, to Harlan & Ingeborg Willson.
Harold was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving during World War II and was a graduate of Harpur College.
He was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and devoted much of his life to the church.
Harold is survived by his three loving stepchildren, Elisabeth (Mokey) Whalen, J. Alan (Janyce) Johnson, and Jean Johnson Motherway (Joe); his daughter-in-law, Deborah Foster; and granddaughter, Erin McNamara. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jay Kokos; and several nieces and nephews.
Harold was predeceased by his sons, James and Richard Willson; sister, Doris Kokos; and brother, Walter.
Also predeceasing him were Dorothy Willson, mother of his children; his second wife, Marge; and his third wife, Grace.
Though he experienced much heartbreak in life, he remained a kind, gentle, and giving man.
We will miss his smile and beautiful blue eyes.
