Created by the merger of Aid Association for Lutherans and Lutheran Brotherhood, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is a unique blend of financial savvy and service to members and communities As the country's largest fraternal benefit society, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans does more than offer financial services. We offer hope and help to Lutherans, their families and their communities.

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans offer Action Team programs that encourage our members and others to come together, through grassroots volunteer activities, to help those in need and to benefit communities and Lutheran congregations/organizations

Thrivent volunteers are having a busy year of sponsoring community events.

Mom's House  - Rocker-thon and Breakfast with Santa
"Join Hands Day" projects in May 
A Youth "Golf Tournament" at Chuckster's in Vestal for grades 6-12 
Samaritan Counseling Center Harvest Dinner
CHOW programs are supported regularly by members of OSLC.
Support for the "Caring Quilters" who provide quilts, walker bags and other support to many
OSLC Nursing home "care packages "at Christmas
Men's Breakfast fundraiser to support Men's and Women's Conferences
Meals on Wheels 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser
All of these projects were financially supported by the members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
